The view from the office, first thing this morning, at 6:17...

...and this at 6:40...

Getting the second "Red Book of CDs Acquired" up to date - before...

...after...

The 21 titles added...

Breakfast at home then, through the garden, which Annie tends so well...

...taking said Annie into town, soundtracked by lovely Mozart - I do like a string quartet don't you know...

Then, to the home of Dr Prog, still a little poorly re recent heart shenanigans...

On the way, I passed this yellow "trophy shop" and it occurred to me I could just buy some and have them engraved and put them on the sideboard...

If I was so inclined...

But I'm not...

We drove into town to a wee South African place...

...which Dr Prog recommended...

...and very good it was too...

Tasty omelettes were enjoyed for lunch...

Then, we drove over to the "Saturday Place" and had to walk up a reasonable hill to get back into town - Phil completed the task more easily than expected...

We had a look round a few shops...

We particularly liked the Bernardo's shop...

Phil looked stuff up before buying...

At the Queen's Hall, he bought a ticket for Steve Howe - which happens when Anne and I are in that London...

Jane Siberry will also be here but logistics mean it's unlikely we'll be able to attend that either...

However, the trio will attend Neal Morse in Glasgow next April...

Record Shak was given a look through then, to Hogs Head...

I noted this in the window - just a few doors along from Hogs Head, at the now long gone Record Exchange, I bought this very album in February 1974...

Phil took me to an electronics shop - he was looking for a lead for one of his many gadgets...

I bought this - successfully...

...and this, unsuccessfully - nearly fried my headphones...

Home around 4 to find Queen of the South were trouncing Stenhousemuir in the Irn Bru cup - final score 7-1...

Some listening and ripping...

In the evening, "Follow the Money" with a curry, and "Strictly" returned - like it had never been away...

Then, as Anne caught up on her stuff and watched Andy Murray, I recorded the links for next week's podcast - ahead of the game...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Out with Dr Prog...
