Who knows but, unfortunately, I wasn't aware of this, last night at Cafe Otto - "Krautrock Karaoe", at which Michael Rother and Hans Lampe were in attedance....
...and took part in a twenty minute jam...
...which I enjoyed this morning on my phone...
...and here it is again from a different angle...
Another fine morning, again despite last night's unmentioned downpour...
Out...
...to Brick Lane...
...for breakfast at Cafe 1001...
...before spending some time in Rough Trade East...
They were having a cheeky wee sale and your correspondent partook of three CDs...
Onwards...
...to Shoreditch...
...and the Church used in the series "Rev"...
As we walked back, a storm was gathering...
It was horribly windy and bitterly cold - so refuge was sought in a nice wee coffee shop...
Brick Lane Cafe...
The trip was coming to an end - so we returned to Spittalfields Market for another, final, tasty lunch...
...before heading to Liverpool St...
...and taking a Tube and the DLR back to London City...
Only to find, on our arrival, that most flights had been cancelled due to the stormy weather...
A long wait ensued but, luckily, our flight was late on enough for conditions to have improved and we finally took off around an hour later than expected...
Goodbye to that London till the next time...
...and hello again Edinburgh in the dark...
You can just see the three bridges under the engine...
An airport bus and a walk up the hill and we were home...
Ripping and listening commenced...
...including this 7CD box which was awaiting my return...
An excellent trip...
Highlight of the Day : Finally getting on the plane...
