The view from the office this morning...

...and later, as we departed for breakfast...

...frosty...

...bright and cold...

Drove to Roseburn...

...then walked on to Haymarket...

The beast was about its business...

...as was its Executive Producer...

...along by the tram tracks...

...and in to Haymarket...

...and on to Morrison Street and, new to us, Milk...

Nice...

I went for the healthy option...

...although, kind of inevitably, I did need to help Anne out with the very last of her sandwich...

Back to the car...

The Exec Producer...

...was being followed by the beast...

This would be a nice spot to have...

At home, in the garden, I mistook these for Brussel Sprouts..

Spring is perhaps on the way...

Indoors, I set about some switching of stuff about and...

...listening to a couple of LPs...

...and a Mozart Piano Concerto...

A speaker switch around, with the best set now being at my most popular listening spot...

I am not averse to the occasional spin of the old vinyl...

...but CDs certainly sound better due to the distinct lack of clicks and/or jumps and/or surface noise...

A visit from Sheila and Andrew on the way to, in turn, visit mum...

Reports later advised she'd been in bed all day, was eating well but, later still, that she was seen to be wearing a full oxygen mask rather than just the tubes in her nose...

I will pop by tomorrow...

Hoping for a full recovery...

To Anne's mum's for tea, accidentally leaving my camera in the car...

Kitty tried to show me how to download an app...

Stupid Uncle David...

Olly seemed to be using his family's entire data supply by watching football matches on his phone...

Kids need to know consequences...

Back home, the first two episodes of a very welcome returning "Person of Interest" very much entertained...

Then, hey, I downloaded not one but two apps - both Brian Eno related...

One would not load on my phone and so, I retired with its software being updated...

Always a worrying scenario...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day ; A nice walk and a lovely breakfast and moving stuff around...
