A squirrel at the feeding station this morning...

...was accompanied by his chum, the big pigeon...

...who was enjoying the crumbs resulting from the squirrel's munching...

Out into the sun...

I am no longer comfortable with this...

Early afternoon, the Exec Producer returned from her Italian trip and, around six, with sun still baking down...

...we met up at Jane and Bobby's to help celebrate nephew Olly's 14th birthday...

As well as aunts and uncles, great aunts and uncles were there...

...and grannies and Rafa the Dog...

A pyrotechnic scenario was soon underway...

...and the birthday boy acted as the Fire Brigade...

...quickly..

...very quickly...

...alas, too quickly for Anne's mum's camera skills...

...and so, a re-enactment took place to allow recording of what had now become a staged event...

There was plenty cake for everyone, Victoria, Rhubarb, Chocolate...

...and the view towards Murrayfield remained good...

As we headed home, this neighbourhood cat impressed...

Back home and two parcels gave up four more classical titles...

A bit of a string quartet frenzy appears to be underway...

Highlight of the Day : Return of the Exec Producer...
