Another walk through the Dean Village at lunchtime - very cold - cardigans and jacket perhaps needing to be returned to everyday wear...

Back home and four envelopes had arrived...

Firstly, Donna Lewis and The Bad Plus - you need to hear this wonderful LP!!

Schulhoff's "Musik fur Streichquartett" - superb avant garde classical music...

The first of a couple of discs of music by Maxwell Davies - these pieces from 1962 & 1982 - for prog rock aficionados, kind of...with King Crimson sideman (from the albums "Islands" and "Red"), Robin Miller on oboe...

And, finally, 87 minutes of 20th Century European chamber music from a Luxembourgian outfit, which makes Gentle Giant sound like One Direction...

...all of which bring my 2015 acquisitions to this...

...which is "only" around 40% of what I'd bough at this point in 2013...

Tonight, I was in charge of cooking salmon fillets with boiled potatoes and sugar snap peas...

What could possibly go wrong?

A couple of things but, with the help of the EP, it all turned out right...

Ended the day with the last of the preposterously acted "DCI Banks" and a very enjoyable "Person of Interest"...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Package arrival...
