...to Airth Castle and a meet and lunch with an interesting German economist...


...and drove back again...

Meanwhile, action had indeed occurred...





Soon, CBQ central was on the way to the peak of normal and a beer was enjoyed...

He moved to NY in '47 after serving in the RAF in WWII....

There was a celebratory recital of his music at Carnegie Hall for his 70th birthday...

This second disc features 50 years of his piano music...


Virginian, William Moylen (b. 1956), three pieces which "cannot be performed live" and were written for living rooms...


A Beethoven contemporary, the Finn (Swede at the time) Crusell - three delightful clarinet quartets...

And, finally, four Pieces from 50's & 90's by Robert Ward - tuneful, but still good - including two violin sonatas...
