At lunchtime a chance meeting in the street with old chum Peri Urban - looking well and much music chat undertaken, before he set off in search of new shoes...
In the evening, Anne had cooked a superb chicken and potato curry...
...which was enjoyed with a cheeky bottle of Chianti - hey, it's the weekend...
Later on, a surprise visit from Olly and Kitty, who were bored with a wedding at the hotel along the road from our house...
Stories were told..
..Kitty enjoyed watching videos on the computer of her two year old self and a spin of "Bake Off" programme was watched on TV, before Anne walked back with them to the venue...
I worked on uploading the playlist and adding the tracklist - notes to be done tomorrow morning...
Anne's new haircut...
...was drenched by a torrential downpour during her journey...
"The Mimic" kind of entertained late on, as did a programme celebrating 50 years of "Match of the Day"...
