Up not too early and updated this and listened to some of the strangely complex music by Messrs Rihm and Lachenmann added to the collection yesterday, followed by (inspired by sister-in-law Jane on ace book, The Carpenters...
Juxtaposition...
A treatment of yesterday's moth was attempted - not sure...
Later this morning, we enjoyed "The Lovely Bones"...
...rather a sad story, directed by Peter Jackson with music by Brian Eno - which then soundtracked our trip out to Loanhead to catch up with my mum and carry out her weekly shop...
I take a lot of pics - sometimes to the chagrin of the Exec Producer...
Here, my mum, whose leg is healing nicely following last week's accident, listens intently to the EP's output....
On over to Anne's mum's for the family tea and first site of nephew Craig since his Australian trip and since he finally succeeded in (kind of - as with everything to do with Craig, its all a bit vague) getting on to The Scotsman's books as a journalist...
Step niece Abby was also in attendance...
Meanwhile, back from America were Jane, Bobby, Olly and, here with her granny, Kitty...
An excellent curry from Mary today...
Back home, a visitor in the garden in the shape of Meg's wee chum, Rory Custard...
Ended the day with the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games on the box but recent music in my ears...
Final act was the watching of the last in the series of "Two Broke Girls"...
Lights out with Rubbra...
Quartet to Quartet, Rihm to Rubbra...
