By the light of day, in the dead of night...

Playlist
Creek - Tarnished
Various - iPod Shuffleplay
Cuff the Duke - Union
UK - Reunion Live in Tokyo 2012

Much of this was gone by close of play this evening...

In the HMV basement today, what should I find but the latest album (which I listened to yesterday on the dreaded Spotify) by new Canadian discoveries, Cuff the Duke, subject of a kind comment on Saturday's podcast...

Duly acquired at minimal outlay and removed from my Amazon basket...

A good walk on the way home...

...along the Water of Leith, to avoid the prepubescent stramash on the main thoroughfare re the performance this evening of the boy band, One Direction (feel free to say "who?" if you're reading this in 2024) at Murrayfield...

Came across this much seen over the piece wee chum...

...and on...

Up onto the road and a bus caught to the top of Crispycat Hill...

...for an evening of "Big Bang", "CSI", the new CD and some listening to the Flaming Lips cover of King Crimson's debut album (new Crimso dates announced today but only in the USA) and concerts by Depeche Mode and UK, resulting in the purchase of the MP3 version of the latter's double album recording of a reunion concert from Japan in 2012, on the same tour during which I witnessed them in London, albeit the recording features a different setlist and Marco Minnemann rather than Gary Husband on drums...

Nice...

Like this...

..and so to bed...

Highlight of the Day : New music, new CSI, a good wee walk...
