Up at 5:38...
Listening to stuff and putting together the pics from last night...
Meg the Black Cat helped...
Post breakfast and the new Yes album, finding myself wanting to compare it to their last, 2001’s “Magnification” but, also finding many Yes LPs not on the hard drive, I undertook to rip their discography and so, started listening to tracks from all the other Yes albums on another scorcher of a day...
At 11:45 we set off into town to met up with Alan and Penny – the freckles on my head were attacked by Mr Sunshine on the walk down to the bus...
...and on the walk from the bus to the restaurant...
At 12:30, an excellent lunch date at Bonhams began...
Post G&Ts, bottles of red and white and some very tasty eats indeed...
....we chatted at the table for an hour or so before retiring to the lounge for coffee...
There were some strange men and ladies in the room – heading for The Mad Hatter’s Ball apparently...
While I took a comfort break, the others celebrated my absence...
I didn’t find this out until uploading the pics later on, here's my reaction...
At 4:45, it was back out onto the baking streets....
...and a bus home as Alan & Penny headed to the Infirmary to visit Alan’s dad...
A call from sister Pam to advise she continues to feel well and is enjoying herself – and has just booked a well deserved trip to Dublin in September to see her friend over there...
She’s also coming back to Edinburgh in a couple of weeks, so it’s all go...
More Yes music and reading about them on the net, including a revealing interview with guitarist Jimmy Haun who was brought in by the record company to replace Steve Howe’s guitar on the reviled-by-many (including Dr Prog) album “Union” from 1991...
I sent the interview to the Doc and await his opinion...
Later on “Scott & Bailey” continued to entertain as it came to the end of its run...
Followed by last night’s hokum that is “Camelot”...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : A leisurely afternoon with chums...

Ha ha, love the "other" photos. Is that them getting their own back?!
Am enjoying Starsailor's "All The Plans", plus the acoustic version.
Still awaiting my William Fitzsimmons CD from the states, while your copy of "Goodnight" continues to delight with its brilliance - I so nearly went all the way to Prague to see him play last week.
A cheeky trio of chums indeed!
Starsailor eh? Nice - and always liked the name...
Will Fitz pops up on my shuffleplays - great stuff...
Discovered a new Manc band yesterday, Dutch Uncles - might be termed "difficult" music but you might like them...
