Other than listening, I did no CBQ work today apart from a brief run through a couple of songs tonight...
Yesterday's roll has stalled - such is the way...
Weather started fine...
..with "Simpsons" opening credits skies...
At lunchtime met up with sister Pam and enjoyed the hospitality of La P'tite Folie...
Liver and bacon salad to start...
...trout fillet for Pam's main and chicken in a mushroom sauce for mine...
..nicely rounded off by very small portions of sticky toffee pudding and bread & butter pudding and accompanied, of course, by a cheeky wee bottle of French white...
A good time was indeed had...
In the evening, apart from the 20 minutes or so playing a couple of songs, it was TV, with “Coronartion Street”, “University Challenge” (on fire with 12 correct answers), “New Tricks” and “Sirens”, this last now a firm favourite after a dodgy first episode...
