Acceptable vocalisations...

Playlist
William Fitzsimmons – Gold in the Shadow
Yes – Fly From Here
Grachan Moncur III – Mosaic Select

Good Julyesque weather for the third day in a row...

Enjoyed the new Fitzsimmons album...

...and followed it with my alternative version of the new Yes album, which now resides on two of the many Cloudland Blue Jukeboxes...

In the evening, post a tasty salad, TV entertained for the most part – mainly in the form of a two hour “Lewis”, a spin off from “Inspector Morse”, which we never watched – in fact this was the first “Lewis” for us...

It was deemed “not bad”...

I really ought to have been practising but, instead, after “Lewis”, I spent the rest of the night listening to a three disc Grachan Moncur III box set released in 2003 which is currently changing hands for around fifty to seventy five of your English pounds...

I have most of the material already on other discs, comprising as it does a quartet of Jackie McLean albums and two recently acquired releases by Mr Moncur himself...

This is some of the best mid sixties jazz there is...

Meg the Black Cat was singing along...

Unlike human vocals, cat vocals are acceptable in jazz...

Far out man...

Highlight of the day : Jazz...
