Up reasonably early and to recording details of recent acquisitions from (a) the second red book of CDs I own and (b) the actual discs themselves...

...onto the much backed up Excel Spreadsheet of my music collection...

Around 11 or so, out supposedly re bike buying...

What's this arty thing?

It's the newly swept garage floor - which was tidied and stuff put into the car for the dump in preparation for incoming bikes...

...but a then discovered a flat tyre on the Cloudland Blue mobile put us somewhat behind schedule...

Rather a lot of Royal Bank of Alex Salmond Smackeroonies later, we had the car back, having, in the meantime, shopped at Tesco while it was being worked on by the nice young men...

To the dump and stuff dumped, then, to the bike shop and a bike for Anne ordered - my deal fell through however (possibly for the best)...

Back home to discover my bass amp (purchased in 1978 and last used in December at the Kilted Pig), had been left on the back step (by me it has to be admitted) while we were away...

I had obviously become distracted with the tyre problem, having "tidied" the amp from the garage, with the intention of putting it into the attic...

It has only made it to the back room thus far though and it was duly fired up and used to amplify (for the first time) my new black guitar, purchased a few months ago now...

In the evening, Anne was out to see Stephen Fry at the Festival Theatre while I, bikeless, spent some cash instead on some Gerhard Richter artefacts...

...whilst compiling and listening to my favourite classical CD purchases of the last nine months...

Almost four hours this evening listening to some quite excellent classical music...

I am a very lucky person...

In footie, if only Queens had put their 62% / 38% possession advantage to use on Saturday and beaten Cowdenbeath, they would tonight be confirmed as second in the league behind Hearts, following Hibs' valiant 3-1 thrashing of The Rangers at Castle Greyskull...

That's football...

Highlight of the Day : Finally firing up the new guitar and buying some art books...
