Okay, this is a new way of writing the diary. I discovered a piece of software that transcribes voice recordings, so I can speak into my recorder that I use for my podcasts and then stick it into the transcription software and that will type it up for me...
Obviously there will be a few things that I'll need to change...
So, this is the entry for the 24th of May, 2026, which is, well, it's the 27th of May as I'm speaking to you. So that's three days ago. Today is Wednesday, so this is the entry for Sunday...
Playlist today? What have we got? Well, let's see what we added into the collection first of all. The only thing that was added in was two tiny desk recordings by Laurie Anderson, concerts by Laurie Anderson in 2021 and 2026...
As regards what I listened to today, 24 Carat Black, some funk, Fluid Druid, that was a recommendation a couple of days back. In fact, I realise now I was recording the podcast today and that's why most of these things are in the playlist. Druid, Sarah Harmer, To Roccoco Rot, Loscil, Uriah Heep, Tal, Bruce Soord - anyway you can see the photograph at the top of the entry...
So I was up around about 25 to 6, working away, up, updating this, which I've not done now for three days....

At nine, Anne was off to Pickleball so I recorded and uploaded this week's podcast...
Then, I brought up the small speakers from downstairs and put them on top of the big speakers up here at the laptop...
All because of this ongoing nonsense I have where, when I'm connected to the internet, the sound from the laptop is interfered with, so I've taken to playing music via my mobile listening unit, on which I have around about 1,600 albums...
I play that via Bluetooth to those two Sony speakers and the sound is a very good indeed in fact...
Then, a new coat rack arrived and the color was somehow wrong. Part of it anyway...
It's one piece of wood but part of it was just wrongly colored so we're going to have to send that back...
For tea tonight some chicken kebabs and salad...
...and then I ran through - wait, no - in the afternoon I ran through the first two sets, the first two hours of our sets for the Stewart Brewing gig on the 6th of June and then, after tea, I ran through the third set...
We also watched some TV, but I can't remember what it would be now...
And that was about it for a Sunday. There we go...
