Out for a walk around at Almondell & Calderwood Country Park...
...stopping at the visitor centre...
...the bridge...
...with the first of many dogs...
...and a heron...
...another bridge and more dogs...
...and the viaduct...
...which we climbed up to...
...for the views...
...and back down...
...and the walk back to the car...
With more unpictured dogs - including the unpictured sisters running along both holding the same stick and the unpictured Robby the Sheepdog, who expertly dealt with two balls simultaneously..
In all, around 90 minutes...
A horse was on the road as we exited...
To the Black Bull Inn in Mid Calder - a haunt of chums Margaret an Glen - sent this to Margaret and, currently in Corfu with daughter Chloe, she recognised it right away...
Top notch nosh...
Veggie burger for me...
And home, stuffed...
