A week and a day on and now trying to remember what happened - such is the way with a diary - if you do not have the wherewithal to maintain it on a daily basis...

Up early and enjoyed some Haydn quartets, on the record player for a change...

I bought these over 7 years ago, as evidenced by the receipt in the box...

Eggs for breakfast...

Around 10 or so, out and over to the Saturday place...

My mooch around the Newington shops produced just one purchase - a reasonable find - 2LPs on 1CD by Brazillian kinda proggers, Secos & Molhados...

Then, drove over to Morningside...

Marky Mark in shop No 1...

...then, walking down the main street...

Two nice £1 finds at shop No 2...

...while Nos 3 & 4 produced no booty...

In shop 5, for 50p, this..

...and, in my final shop of the day, after 43 years, I finally succumbed to this for a further 50p...

...and this, a recent fave of the occasional CD buyer - still shrink-wrapped, also 50p..

Back to the car...

...and home to rip and listen to the haul...

Noted that, with the release of "Haydn" yesterday, I've now sent 15 items out into the world in the last 15 months...

In the evening, a very garlicky but very tasty Chinese was enjoyed...

...while the football was and wasn't - best way to watch is like this...

..to block out the utter drivel spouted by the commentators and so called pundits...

Denmark held on to beat the Czech Republic 2-1 while the Ukraine were unceremoniously thrashed by England 4-0...

Not much to stop the world's most boastful nation getting to the final...

Not liking it...

Highlight of the Day : Shopping...
