Other views...

...and then, post breakfast, a road trip to Perth with the EP...

Nice shops were perused (but nothing bought)...

...the town centre was taken in...

...as was the art gallery/museum...

I had the Magic Robot game - or our pretend cousins in Kilmarnock had it...

A 3,000 year old boat...

I particularly liked this painting of the city by Alexander Duff Robertson - ahead of its time perhaps, stylistically, having been painted in 1850...

Stuff from the 1970's...

this, rather than being Egyptian, is a film prop...

The boat, from the other end...

A shadow gallery...

We got a message asking if we'd take a cat from chum Teresa's daughter who was coming over from Holland - a five week stay - we said yes - and got all excited - then news came that the cat could not exit the Netherlands re lack of paperwork/jabs...

Boo...

A fossil was purchase d by way of commiseration...

Out for further walking around...

..including the river...

..and across a large park...

...towards impressive buildings...

Then, to "Brothers" for lunch...

Mmm, pizza...

A trawl round the shops - including Concord Records...

A purchase made from the Cancer Research shop...

A small bakery provided "facilities"...

...a very tasty apple pie...

...lovely coffees and a chance to peruse my purchase...

Then, a walk back to the car...

..and a drive to a nearby woodland destination...

...followed by an uneventful drive home to our own garden...

...and to rip the new thing...

In the evening TV and music as ever..

Including the new thing we've been watching lately "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Trip to Perth...
