Up super early, having recorded the links for this week's podcast late last night but not yet having edited them...

To work...

..and up it was posted around 8am as usual...

At 10:30,picked up Dr Prog and we drove to the Saturday Place for parking, before walking to the library, stopping off on the way at Blackwell Bools were the Doc picked up two classical music magazines while I partook of these beauties...

At the library, the Super Deluxe version of the Velvet Underground's debut was borrowed, along with this 5CD box...

Then, to our coffee/juice/roll place near the Grassmarket for sustenance and chat...

  

...this set of complete Haydn symphonies was also borrowed for just over a quid..

Around 1:30,  walk to the Grassmarket itself, where this bootleg of Freddie Hubbard in the early 70s was snapped up at music chum George's stall...

Farewell to the doc and then home to Anne, who had just picked up her new specs...

The rest of the day was spent ripping and listening and watching telly and being frustrated at Queens losing at home 3-2 to Alloa...

Eventually, it was time for bed...

A long, enjoyable day...
