Up early and recording the second hour of the podcast...

A reasonable day, mostly because it was Friday...

In fact, it was Gin Friday (round at Jane and Bob's anyway) and I headed there for 5:30 where things were in full swing...

Beer and Gin were enjoyed...

Later, as the sun went down over the roof, outdoor heating was required...

...and the boys enjoyed ping pong...

...while the ladies continued to wire into the gin...

Tasty treats were also enjoyed, Jane's culinary skills as good as ever - including her take on Anne's pakoras and Anne's two pakora sauces (red and green)...

Yum...

We exited around 9:25 and it was still light when we arrived home, replacement headphones (goosed on Tuesday) behind the door...

I was, it must be said, ever so slightly the worse for wear re the gin intake...

An excellent night nonetheless...
