First thing, a visit from a wee friend...

...who, shortly after this, bit and scratched the hand that fed him...

But, hey, that's cats...

This evening, to the hospital with a bitten and scratched Anne to visit my mum...

She looked as if she was dead...

She was, in fact, fast asleep but very yellow indeed...

The slumber was caused by the massive sedation which had been required to carry out a procedure this afternoon, during which it was realised that the stones in her bile duct were too large to "fish out" as had been envisaged...

Instead, stents were placed around the stones to stop the blockage which has caused this illness...

A further procedure will be required at a later date...

Leaving her to sleep, we made our way home...

And probably watched some football...
