There is probably just too much music in the world...

Loscil - Second Narrows (Remixes)
Loscil - For Greta
Ben Frost - Aurora
Loscil - Versions

Up early and continuing with the podcast, which was then finished off in the evening...

Some, probably too much, telly was watched - jeez, I am being sucked into "Doc Martin" just as it reaches the end of its 8th series...

Greg Davies' "Man Down"'s second episode of the new series was not quite as funny as last week but had a great pay off re his "bear"...

The rest of the time was spent mainly listening to the music of Ben Frost and Loscil...

So far this year (305 days), the collection has been expanded by around 48.5 (24 hour) days of music...

That's almost 4 hours of new music every single day

Is it any wonder it only gets listened to once, if at all?

Hmmm...

But then, I could pay £10 a month to Spotify and expand my music choices a million fold and have access to much more music to which I'd never listen...

At least this way I've chosen the music that will not be listened to...

Highlight of the Day : Man Down...

If you listened to Spotify you'd be paying less for no music and spending less time in record shops which could be spent listening to the music you're not listening to.

Point taken Stu but I've not yet got the stage where I want to rent rather than own the music...

Right now, I'm probably downloading too much stuff...

So far in 2017 735 downloads have joined the collection onto the hard drives, while 430 CDs have been added...

Mind you, quite a few of those CDS were due to brother in law Keith and chum JB going over to streaming...

And, of course a visit to Mixed Up in Glasgow with its top notch £1 a CD section usually results in up to 20 CDs being added in a single day...

My name is David and I'm an addict...
