Once again the Exec Producer out at the ballet - tonight, Carlos Acosta's company with, from the subsequent report, some wonderful dancing over the course of five pieces, the man himself appearing in a duet entitled "Mermaid", which, from the description, gives more than a nod to the original fairy tale of "The Little Mermaid" (as opposed to the Disney cartoon)...

I found myself at home finding some solace in a loaf of Irish bread...

I could have nipped out to see The Tubes in Edinburgh but decided, probably wrongly, to eschew, given we will see them on Sunday supporting Alice Cooper in Glasgow...

Instead, I stayed in, listening to music and surfing the Twitter...

As if I didn't have enough music...

...I was directed to a new to me duo called Knower and, from there, to Snarky Puppy...

Another 5 or 6 hours of music to take up my time...

A call to my mum - unwell...

A taxi service for Anne...

A visit from Fang the Black Cat - who ate some Dreamies then peed on the TV unit...

Out he went...

Some more music listening chat re ballet and music discovery then bed...

Highlight of the Day : Music discovery...
