Up early to upload the podcast, before heading to the gym, only to discover my iPod had been accidentally wiped - I use the passive tense because I certainly didn't do it and neither did the Exec Producer so, unless Tiger or Fang somehow gained access to the house and the iPod in the night and have an understanding of these things, it's a mystery...

Several hours today were spent trying to solve this situation...

At 9:15, with the EP under the weather re cold symptoms, your correspondent headed to the gym solo...

Taylor Swift was there - or at least her lookalike who spends an inordinate amount of time on a treadmill walking up a hill, was there...

For my part, I spent and inordinate amount of time on a bike...

Home with bread-based provisions, to find Tiger in the house but not admitting to having done anything to my iPod and this in the post...

I can advise it is "far out, maaan"...

...and, post lunch and Anne heading to Tynecastle to see Hearts remain undefeated at the new version of the stadium (but also without a win there) after a 0-0 draw with Ross County, this new disc soundtracked some work in the back room and the following on the Twitter of Queens going down 3-0 at home to Livingston and having a man sent off to boot...

Just as well football (and sport in general) is, in reality, of no consequence whatsoever...

What was of consequence was that I was rearranging some CDs to give the illusion of more space - it's not over of course...

The view from the office late this afternoon as the exercise was put on hold post initial work...

...and some Alice Cooper, from 1991, was watched on DVD - strange to see him again with a smooth face...

Meanwhile the trying to fix the iPod continued too...

On Anne's return, a tasty Indian selection was ordered and collected - one starter, one side dish, one main, a chapati and a couple of unordered poppadoms...

"Strictly" and "Michael McIntyre's Big Show" were watched and enjoyed, as was an hour of Josh Widdicombe's stand up on the Tivo...

Then, back to the iPod and, finally, it seemed to be working again...

Weird but with a hint of "we'll see"...

Lights out..

Highlight of the Day : Getting the iPod to work...
