Coffee..

...and uploading...

...before heading to the gym...

A bit of rush but home and a turnaround and into town to meet up with Dr Prog just after 11...

The walk to the meet provided some good views....

...and we enjoyed coffee, sustenance and chat at the Grassmarket Community Project...

Porridge for Mr CBQ...

From here, many foreign tourists seem to commence sightseeing walks...

We did our own sightseeing as we wandered into the Grassmarket and each bought a £3 disc from "George" the Record Fair guy...

Here is mine - Candian country star Corb Lund (includes a DVD)...

Dr Prog went for a live concert radio broadcast of Cecil Taylor...

We walked back towards the car, past the University...

I picked up another couple of bargains in the BHF shop...

Dr Prog nabbed some classical LPs - his turntable has recently been overhauled and he's enjoying spinning the vinyl...

Farewells said and the drive home soundtracked by the enjoyable Lund disc...

Some work on car insurance then another quick turnaround to my mum's...

Anne brought along some very nice home-made ginger biscuits...

Sister Sheila and husband Senior also in attendance having lunched with some friends...

Mum had once again advised "there's something wrong with my TV son"...

Which, of course, means she's inadvertently pressed the wrong button on her cardboard protected to avoid just such situations TV remote...

Adjustments made...

Surely now there's no way any other button, other than on/off, can receive pressure...

Home around 5:30 and Anne made some very tasty lasagna for tonight and Monday, while I ripped all the purchases...

In the evening, "Strictly", "I Know Who You Are" and "Terminator : Genisys" entertained...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day :  Meet w/Dr Prog/Anne's culinary prowess...
