Much of today spent waiting to go to the airport...
Including a "Midsomer Murders"...
Finally on our way around 3:45...
...and through security just half an hour later...
Dinner in the airport lounge and then boarding at 6:15...
We were right up the back and I was in an aisle seat so (possibly thankfully) no pics from the window during the flight...
...a busy flight...
Landed at 21:45 in Santander, Northern Spain...
...and out waiting for the bus just 8 minutes later - amazingly fast...
Just a ten minute ride to the city centre...
...followed by a ten minute trundle to our apartment...
At this point we did not realise we could have saved a couple of minutes by walking through this tunnel...
The apartment was "funky"...
...with good views...
Out we went to explore the surroundings and found ourselves in a wee bar for a beer...
