Slept in till after 8...

Up, some tasty coffee and back to the project of trying to remember which LPs I bought when...

Anne alerted me to a visitor...

Tiger the Black & White Cat was in the house...

Hello lovely wee boy...

Off for a look around...

...including a visit to pretend Meg the Black Cat's basket...

Ok, that's enough...

Bye...

Off out for breakfast, noting the colours of the garden...

...and focusing on yesterday's put of focus spider...

Parked around half a mile from Stockbridge and walked to Patisserie Florentin for the first time in a while...

The ambience was brighter than before and less "French"...

The food was tasty though....

...and the coffee good...

We will return...

A wander around the market - no purchases...

Some accidentally arty shots - re zooming without noticing...

..the above being a bread basket and the gentleman's fleece and bag...

Oooh, paella...

We walked back through Stockbridge and I picked up a couple of items at the Shelter Shop...

LPs no less...

Got this for the Schulhoff but it's all good...

...and the rendition of Tippett's 1st SQ on this 2LP set is top notch - from the Edinburgh Quartet, issued in 1964 on small Edinburgh label Waverley and licensed by EMI for this release...

Nice...

More visitors to the garden...

Out to my mum's, where chat was chatted, Olympics were watched and coffee and snowballs were enjoyed...

Plans for the garden were also planned...

Then, to Anne's mum's for the family tea, which saw the return from America of Jane, Bobby, Olly and Kitty...

And of Anne's mum's now famous gooseberry tart...

A full house L-R Olly, Mary, Jane, Kitty, Craig, Anne, Keith, Bobby, Maureen...

Home and the search was on to try and find today's Tippett on CD - found the 2LP set on a 2CD set for eight squid - I am nuts...

To balance this out, I was able to obtain a free download of the Adamus Trio's LP - enjoying now as I type...

I like the look and feel of an LP but, really, the sound quality is not up to CD...

It's scientifically proven you duped hipsters...

Ended the night with Andy Murray in the tennis - posting this before I know the result...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : All of it really...

I listen to everything on Mini Disc. Far superior to vinyl and CD. Nice blur on the pics.

Nutter! Your jingles were a wee bit, shall we say, downbeat this week Stu. Still appreciate the input as ever of course xx
