Breakfast at home after having been up for a while...

Some considerable time spent today adding much of my missing back catalogue to iTunes, listening to a few long-forgotten items along the way...

Buoyed by yesterday's performance, I took to the guitar and sang a few songs...

...soon bored myself with that though, perhaps the moment's passed...

Coffee, frangipane tarts and chat on garden ideas amongst other stuff...

To Anne's mum's - she was a little behind with the prep so some of the attendees pitched in - my oven roasted asparagus was a hit...

Bob took on the sugar-snap peas...

Potatoes were brought to the boil...

Apple Charlotte was pre-prepared...

...and pies were soon in the oven...

The kids are getting big these days...

Mary was worried about everything but it all turned out fine...

...including the world's smallest omelette, enjoyed by Olly and I as a cheeky wee starter concocted from the remainder of the pie glaze...

A raucous meal - the cat over the road wondered what all the noise was about...

Home to continue on the ripping as the weekend drew to a close...
