Up at 6 again...

The view from the office this morning...

Fine tuning the line up for this week's Eclectic Selection - which is going to be even more eclectic than usual perhaps...

It includes a more upbeat jingle from Stu Cobley than of late - Stu put me on to a cheeky wee 20 minute performance of Chick Corea & Gary Burton via e-mail - which was good...

He's always disappointed though when Chick doesn't play his 1972 hit "Son of My Father"...

Also some correspondence with our upcoming Spanish host...

And some tax work...

Some sorting too of TV & DVD at Anne's mum's, before heading out to my mum's, where the left behind fencing was sawn into bits - mostly by me, although there is no evidence, this being the only picture taken of sawing activity...

Sister Sheila and Brother-in-law Andrew took said discarded wood to the tip...

Still a lot of work to be done...

Home to cook...

Henry Moore's Lamb Stew...

...from "The Modern Art Cookbook" by Mary Ann Caws...

Anne did not trust me to blend the bread for the breadcrumbs...

Probably wise...

Nor was I allowed to get too rough with her "best pan" - she did the honours re ensuring nothing was a-sticking to the bottom...

A tasty triumph indeed!

...enjoyed with a cheeky glass of the remaining Soave along with another episode of "Follow the Money"...

The view from the office this evening...

"Fake or Fortune" returned for the final show of the season, now that the Olympics have ended...

As has the weekend...

Highlight of the Day : Sawing and cooking, probably cooking...
