Up at 6...

The view from the office this morning...

To the kitchen...

...for...

...lashings of coffee - accompanied by Tippett...

I was supposed to be meeting Dr Prog this morning but a call from him advised a visit to the infirmary in the early hours having somehow fallen out of bed and impaled his lip on an aerial from some device or other...

Making it up is not in his repertoire - he doesn't need to...

So, meet duly postponed due to facial stitches...

Was hoping to make this later today - sculptor Henry Moore's Lamb Stew from the Modern Art Cookery Book purchased this week - but circumstances postponed it too, till tomorrow I think...

Out for a new Telly...

Cheery-bye stalwart Hitachi...

A considerable amount of time spent swithering, before pulling the trigger on a new Sony - this the scene upon our return...

Set up went well and Anne headed to the footie - Hearts beating Inverness 5-1 - in Dumfries, a double from Dobbie secured the points for the Mighty Queen of the South against always rivals over the past few years, the Kirk of Fall...

Meanwhile, at Crispycat Towers, my paintings were on the telly...

...thanks to YouTube now being able to be beamed into the living room...

However, as part of the package, we had foolishly fallen for the old "this golden HDMI cable is the dog's bollocks" bollocks...

A walk back to the shop through the rain...

...to return said cable and have fifty smackeroonies removed from the, still substantial, bill...

Just as well I only pay a couple of quid for most of the CDs I buy...

In the evening, we continued with a "Follow the Money" and a "Two Broke Girls" whilst enjoying a replacing-the-proposed-Henry-Moore-Lamb-Stew tasty celebratory-of-a-new-TV curry...

Listening ended the day - some whilst viewing "Match of the Day"...

Highlight of the Day : New TV...
