The walls come tumbling down, with no need for trumpets...

Cloudland Blue Quartet - Anthology : Rubinmusik 1977-2016
Part - Tabula Rasa
Laura Pausini - Similares

Work this morning on a release for next year...

A radio programme chanced upon by Anne yesterday, re-listened to - touched upon how music affects the brain with regard to how food tastes...

Random people given an orange and tomato sauce - tasted with Britten's "Dawn" from "Four Sea Interludes" (high strings), they tasted the orange and citric but, accompanied by "Moonlight" from the same work (low strings), the tomato seemed to the fore...

Professor Barry Smith of University College London, for it was he, advised that no matter the food or drink, it will always taste better if soundtracked by "Silentium" from Arvo Pärt's "Tabula Rasa"..

Why not try it?

Out to my mum's and a disaster in the making - unbeknown to me, this hole in her garage appeared over a year ago...

The garage appears to be threatening to collapse into her neighbour's garden...

To make matters worse, the roof appears to comprise asbestos...

Demolition beckons...

In other news, a faulty phone handset is being replaced and further explanation on how the relationship between her Tivo box and TV works was required...

A rogue bluebottle feasting on a dropped Sugar Puff on the kitchen floor added to the over all cloudiness of the visit...

All in all, rather depressing...

To Jane and Bobby's for the family tea - they are just back from Orkney re celebrating Bobby's granny's 100th birthday...

This to start with...

Three generations captured by chance...

Kitty it seems is becoming a fully fledged teenager - here, rare shots of her without her phone...

Pre the Orkney trip, Olly had just returned from a Hebrides outward bound scenario with his school - the full story regaled and, later on, many good pics shown...

Rafa the Dog enjoyed the movement of many tennis balls - Andy Murray perhaps not so much...

Good weather to be in the garden...

Maureen and Keith also in attendance...

...and serenaded by this wee monkey...

A very tasty Chinese, along with last night's Indian, did for almost all my good work re salads during the week...

Weekends must now be amended too it seems...

It's rubbish being fat...

Home to research new phones and garage demolitionists...

Lovin' it...

"Wallander" - much better than the first in the series (we are a week behind) then some late night listening before hitting the sack...

An eventful weekend, not always in a good way...

Highlight of the Day : Jane & Bobby's garden...
