Off to Hamburg today...

By chance, procured a lift to the airport from Jane and Bobby, who were off to Cammo to take Rafa the Dog for a walk...

Very civilised flight timing for a change...

As you would always hope, an uneventful flight...

In flight entertainment...

And soon, flying into Hamburg...

A train to Barmbek...

...and a bus to Mühlenkamp...

...and our accommodation for the next few days - the apartment of  a violinist, who was off to Italy with his orchestra...

After a twenty minute settle in, out for a reccy of the surrounding area...

To the nearby Kampnagel arts complex...

...noting a performance tonight, before buying some beers and heading back to the flat...

...and drinks on the balcony, soundtracked by Hamburgian, Udo Lindenberg...

...and some research...

Later, back to Kampnagel...

...where these two energetic young dancers performed a 45 minute piece, entitled "Relational Masquerade"...

Very fit indeed, with much impossible bending and balancing, rolling and, indeed, trotting, being undertaken...

Out...

...and, in keeping with our surroundings, wurst and schnitzel for tea...

The view from the balcony this evening...

...before a further look around the environs...

...followed by more beer for the tail section...

...under good skies...

Lights out on the first day...

Highlight of the Day : Being in Hamburg...
