To my mum's late afternoon to meet with the guys who may well demolish her garage...

They seemed knowledgeable and will present costs on a few alternatives...

A new fence too between mum and her neighbours the cost of which will be split 50/50...

And they very kindly allowed us to dump all the rubbish from the garage (some of it a good thirty or forty years old), into their skip...

Which was nice...

And left the garage like this...

Sheila salvaged the bagatelle with which we used to play when we visited our grandparents in Baillieston back in the sixties...

As a celebration of a good evening, we stopped off at Bombay Feast on the way home for a couple of very tasty indeed cooked-in-front-of-us vegetable curries...

Some telly this evening "Big Bang", "New Girl" and "Angie Tribeca" before I conked out...

And so, I did not get a chance to sample the new recordings sent through from Portsmouth by Mr Minty the Pedantic Pedestrian who has been hard at work re-working pieces from the latest CBQ album...

Bed beckoned instead...

Highlight of the Day : Envisaging my mum's garden sans garage...
