This lead me into a listening session re the works of Herr Lachenmann and the downloading of over four hours of, shall we say, "difficult" music...
To my mum's at lunchtime and out for a lunch, her first "leisure" outing from the house since coming home from hospital just under two weeks ago...
The venue was The Steading and tasty food was enjoyed, including these desserts...
Apple and Blackberry Crumble with Custard for Anne, Fig Plum and Pistachio Frangipane Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream for me...
...and Apple Pie, also with Vanilla Ice Cream for mum...
My mum does like a dessert...
Coffee back at her place and then, home for some rehearsing - this time backing tracks plus vocals and bass guitar...
In the evening, no tea re the earlier participation in large, leisurely lunching...
New drama "Undercover" looks promising, following a very slow start...
And we've not even started on "The Night Manager" yet...
