The view from the office this morning...

...and this evening...

...at which point this disc had arrived - found in a trawl of Amazon for reasonably priced string quartets...

It's three quartets, arranged though for string orchestra...

Possibly my first Haas - which will appear in the next podcast I imagine - certainly short-listed at present...

In addition to this, chum Chris-with-a-Ch supplied me with the new Pet Shop Boys album - which is up to their usual high standards - favourite track, probably "The Dictator Decides"...

Also downloaded a 6 hour, 11 CD set of ambient music created by Italian sculptor and furniture designer Harry Bertoia, using his sculptures as instruments - intriguing, if slow moving...

On telly, "Line of Duty" was quite superb although I am apprehensive about how things are going to pan out in next week's 90 minute finale...

My favourite show of many current favourites...

Highlight of the Day :  Line of Duty...
