A walk to Dalry today - no purchases - probably just as well...

Turned out nice as I walked back up the hill...

Spotted this wee monkey half way up...

...and this wee monkey closer to home, apprehensive of a passing workie...

Tasty pasta for tea - basil is a good addition...

An old "Big Bang" then to compiling this week's podcast - I let the computer pick the running order...

Late on, celebrations by fans of the newest club in Scotland, banging on about how "extraordinary" it is that they've made it from the fourth tier to the first in just four years...

Erm, they seem to be forgetting that Gretna did the same in just three years and spent a hell of a lot less money...

In fact, the fact that it took the new club four years to achieve what it has must surely be a surprise and disappointment considering the playing staff they've had at their disposal - no EBTS this time though eh lads?

Still, I'm sure their fans are looking forward to the club's first ever season in the top flight...

"Holby", which featured exactly the operation I had last October - although the patient seemed to be experiencing considerably less pain than me pre the op - brought the day to a satisfying close...

Lights out...

Highlight of the day : Podcasting...
