Up not too early and, just after breakfast, which was accompanied by Laura Pausini in concert, and some sorting out of future plans, a quick, short visit from Fang the Black Cat...

And out again...

Bye Fang...

A walk down the hill, where this seemingly grumpy wee chum was spotted...

Nipped into the Cancer Research Shop while Anne carried out the errand which had necessitated the walk...

This found for just four of your English pounds - released this year, it contains ten career spanning albums by the pianistic maestro in question...

Thanks to whoever handed it in...

A tasty half scone each and very strong coffee at new to the neighbourhood Cafe Vigo, then a walk back up the hill and some sorting out and moving about of the content of the back room...

As you might imagine, some piano based listening took place too...

And, indeed, some reading of the Alice Cooper Group biography by bassist Dennis Dunaway, whilst enjoying the band's first two LPs...

A cheeky wee curry in the evening, was followed by a programme on how to stay young - dance and go vegan apparently - and a couple of episodes of "Person of Interest" - also very much enjoyed...

Late on, the commencement of the compilation of next week's podcast...

A good Saturday...

Highlight of the Day : Perahia box set find...
