A walk down to Stockbridge today, soundtracked by my rehearsals from yesterday and thought I might return empty handed...

However, after trawling through the majority of the CDs for sale in the various Charity Shops down there - and there are quite a few - my last port of call was the Cancer Research shop, where I found this for just 125 new pence...

It's a bit of a change for Einaudi, including as it does various instruments other than his usual solo piano - with live electronics by Robert Lippok of To Rococo Rot and Tarwater...

Nice...

Meanwhile, back home, these awaited...

I am a fan of the bassoon...

The Pausini disc is a special edition of an album I have already - it comes with a live 20 minute medley recorded on New Year's Eve 2011 of, mainly, disco hits - plus a DVD of her 2011 live show...

Looking forward to seeing her live in London in October...

Later, a further, unofficial, Pausini compilation was also downloaded...

Also today, I didn't play this, recorded 12 years ago now...

Maybe someone out there will like it...

It reminds me that today is my mum and dad's 61st Wedding Anniversary...

We kind of celebrated yesterday...

Meanwhile, Anne created a superb dish tonight, based around lamb and sweet potatoes, as seen yesterday on Sunday Brunch...

Very tasty indeed...

But unpictured prior to being scoffed...

On TV, a new drama "Marcella" was also much enjoyed - they just keep on coming...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Chance findings and tasty cooking...
