Snow was around first thing, on what would have been my dad's 85th birthday...
..and what is also the 13th anniversary of the passing of Crispy the Kitten...
Uptown, snowless really...
Erroneous CD returned and correct box set (along with two others) awaited...
Tasty chorizo...
...and prawn pasta...
...enjoyed with some Sauvignon Blanc...
..and why not?
Nothing of much interest happened today, as you can see from the above...
The music was good though...
In the evening, I sourced a programme which allowed me to download broadcasts from BBC's iPlayer to my hard drive, obtaining a recent edition of Jazz on 3 featuring my faves The Bad Plus at last year's London Jazz Festival, playing the Village Underground, where I enjoyed day one of the 2014 Denovali Swingfest in back in April...
Some judicious editing took the programme down from its original 90 minutes to just the 69 of the performance itself - keeping the original of course re interviews etc...
This is how I waste my time...

My dad was 84 on Tues. Spent in hospital though. Home now, feeling better.
