Today we have the third of a projected ten episodes featuring music released in January...

Volume 3 kicks off in 1971 with 17 minutes of funky jazz from Freddie Hubbard and moves through to a 1974 classic from Joni Mitchell, taking in debuts from Blue Öyster Cult and Yes offshoot, Flash, a number one album from another Yes connection, Rick Wakeman, ELO from before they went pop, almost a last hurrah from the Beach Boys and some classic rock from the Purps along the way...
