Out into the sun this morning for a celebratory breakfast...

Today was the 35th anniversary of the Capital Models gig at the Netherbow Theatre, after which, at the post gig party at Jamie's, Gus's and my flat in nearby St Mary St, the EP and I first "got together"...

A celebratory bacon roll and coffee at Cafe Citron...

...before heading to Sainsbury for the celebratory weekly shop...

I embarrassed Anne by spending an inordinate amount of time amongst the fruit and veg taking some colourful snaps...

I made one purchase...

...and, back home for lunch, this was delivered...

A wee robin was also having its lunch out in the garden...

...as the shopping was put into its various places...

...and we listened to the piano music of Mr Van Veen...

I did not enjoy my just purchased soup but it inspired a thought that I might one day open a soup shop, selling soup to people for their lunch, possibly with crusty bread on the side...

They could choose from a huge variety of flavours, at which point I would go through the back, open the relevant tin, pop it in the microwave and, a couple of minutes later, serve it up...

I am glad to say that after 35 years I can still make Anne laugh...

Later on in the afternoon, some celebrationary cakes were bought and consumed while we watched "Quantum of Solace"...

Tonight's zumba was called off due to an ill Lynn...

TV ("University Challenge", "Silent Witness" etc) was watched and Northern Soul, Dutch minimalist piano music and twenty year old CBQ cover versions were all enjoyed...

Highlight of the Day : Spending it with Anne in celebratory mode...
