Up at six and working on the notes for the weekly playlist...

Took a break to pop down the road with Anne to the Original Coffee Bean for a tasty breakfast...

Back home and more note writing and compiling and moving around of furniture...

...before heading back out to look at more furniture...

Back home and then Anne drove off over to Fife to watch the Hibs Hearts derby (2-1 to Hearts at Easter Rd - Queens will be in the play offs having secured 4th spot yesterday with a 2-0 win over Livingston, which leaves them 3 points and 12 goals ahead of fifth placed Dumbarton with one game to go - not bad considering the Doonhamers were only promoted last season)...

I finally got the podcast out just before 3 and then headed on foot over the hill for a visit to drummer Keith's...

...spotting a couple of good leaves on the way....

It was the first time we'd seen each other "in the flesh" since our gig back in December and, of course since the passing of our old friend and musical sparring partner Jamie Frain - which happened while Keith was away in Cuba on holiday...

We had a good long positive chat about future plans and there is much to do...

Keith had abstained from our rehearsals for the gig which ought to have taken place yesterday (on perfectly agreeable terms, as we know he can pick things up very easily indeed because, frankly, he is so good)...

He has other projects, musical and otherwise, on which he was, and still is, working...

But we agreed today there will be work for us and young Andy to do in the future...

This time last year we were rehearsing with Kat McKenzie for her album sessions - time flies...

Anne popped by to pick me up on her way back from Fife and the three of us had a good chat before Anne and I headed to her mum's for the family tea...

Kitty seems to have a new favourite, a young man named Elyar Fox - who has a catchy tune out right now called "A Billion Girls"...

She was amazed that I was able to sing along with it almost from the very start - I explained the predictability and catchiness of the piece lent it to being easily sung along to by an almost 55 year old musician...

He seems like a perfectly nice boy...

Meanwhile Kitty demonstrated that she is quite good at doing the splits...

..and filmed herself upside down on her phone...

..and was, generally, gymnastic...

Home to some work at the laptop and more concentrated listening to some of the recent acquisitions and some live Alice Cooper...

Some footy highlights and the weekend was gone once again...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : A meet with Mr Apter...
