Kat McKenzie - Shine On
Cloudland Blue Quartet - New Piece
Klaus Schulze - La Vie Electronique 4
Glenn Gould - Mozart Piano Sonatas
Up early and working on pics and ripping...
Then, into town on the bus...
Down the Royal Mile....
..to the travesty that is the Scottish Parliament...
..to see the longest tapestry in the world - well it will be once it's all sewn together....
Taking pictures of the Queen's portrait was expressly forbidden...
Mostly an older crowd...
This panel, number 120, was partially embroidered by our chum Debbie (the Munro climber extraordinaire)...
I quite liked this panel too - illustrating the massive folly of the Darien Scheme, which inadvertently led to the Union which may end next year - but more than likely won't...
In the parliament itself, we witnessed the start of a debate...
Sad to say, the level of intellect on display was cringeworthy...
Truly awful...
Out and a nice coffee half way up the Mile before a bus home and some excellent soup making...
In the evening, more pic sorting, ripping, listening and some telly too...
Highlight of the Day : Leaving the Scottish Parliament...
