Another lovely summer's day, with lunchtime spent partly in Princes Street Gardens...

This statue stands behind the famous Floral Clock, the very edge of which you can just see just to the right behind the statue...

...and, for the first time ever, I noticed Egyptian style heads on the National Art Gallery...

In the evening, Anne was off to the Playhouse to see "Strictly Come Dancing - The Professionals" - an exciting evening of ballroom dancing by all accounts...

Meanwhile, your correspondent spent much of the night (ok just about all of it), listening to Handel Operas and, firstly, ripping recent acquisitions to the hard drive whilst deleting everything on one of my 30GB jukeboxes...

Then loading in, in reverse order, all CDs acquired since last July - some 540 discs (counting multi disc sets individually)...

So, from now, as a new CD comes in, an old one will be removed - like Homer Simpson's brain regarding facts...

Oh yes...

Also purchased a CD by one Tim Arnold in a, these days, very rare foray into the realms of e-bay - having last night or the night before ordered a wee CD from recent American discovery and new favourite, Sumner McKane...

On arrival some Gershwin may exit the jukebox...

Highlight of the Day : Refilling the jukebox - sad I know, but there you go...
