In HMV, new to-be-kept-in-reserve headphones were purchased following a going-tits-up scenario this morning with the current pair and the then only in reserve pair being called into duty…

In the evening a cycle to and from the gym in the heat and watching Spain toy like a cat with a mouse with the Hondurans but, in the end only managing to score two goals – unlike the Portuguese who put seven past the North Koreans…

I’m still thinking much of the lead vocal work needs to be re-recorded – the majority of the performances are first takes recorded whilst actually writing the lyrics…
It’s only on repeated listening that the required nuances present themselves but having to do it all over again is a daunting prospect…
