A day spent in the house, "working"...
Initial scenes - some books...
The view from the office...
Some new to me ambient things from The Black Dog - reasonable - a wee bit more KapTep and a new live thing from Martin Sturzter - nice...
This last accompanied a tasty breakfast...
And an anniversary...
Fourteen years today since Pam was finally free of her cancer...
48 forever...
My dad was famous for cutting people's heads off in photos. Here are me, Pam and, yep, with her head cut off in the pic, Sheila (at least I think it is - I can't see her face! - yes, she confirmed it is her)...
Just the two of us left now from those days...
Anne was off to see her mum - I sang thirteen cover songs, demo-ing some ideas for the proposed "Swan Songs" project - in the pipeline for a November 2026 release, so plenty time to get things right...
Lunch on Anne's return - already much time spent lining vocals and pianos up on the DAW...
The new earbuds arrived and were plugged in to charge up...
A quick "Bones" with lunch before she headed to PickleBall...
The rest of the afternoon was spent painstakingly taking out extraneous sounds and trying to sort botches re my singing...
Upon charging, Alice Cooper was the first listen on the new buds...
Oh yes - very good sound indeed...
More Swan work in the early evening...
Baked potatoes for tea...
"Cooper & Fry" entertained...
Final work and a listen back...
Could possibly rename it "When swans sound like out of tune ducks..."
Sadly, after an entire day's work, it seemed there was little salvageable from this - but I will continue to work on it - and I really do like the take on "Both Sides Now"...
Another "Bones" before bed...
Highlight of the Day: Recording...

Forever 48, 48 forever. Quite a nice poetic way to remember. You should take it further.
