It remained the weekend but, in truth, we are in that strange period between Xmas and New Year where no-one really ever knows what day it is...
Out around 12:15 and arrived, with Bob, who was on our bus, just before 1, for a great big family meal with, in all 17 attendees...
Maureen, Lily, Rebecca, Murray, Oscar, Olly, Ewan...
Abbie, Blair, Craig, Keith, Jane, Anne....
Kitty, Bob and an unpictured me...
The wine, beer and various soft drinks were flowing...
Various starters around the tables - bruschetta, calamari, croquettes, tartar and caprese...
Mains of tasty pizzas, creamy chicken, seafood risotto and a lasagne for the Exec Producer...
This kept your correspondent going for the rest of the day...
Oscar was interested...
Kind of...
The bill was not too steep, considering what we'd all enjoyed - duly paid and then, off to the nearby Haymarket Bar for more drinks and chat, Rebecca, Murray, Lily and Oscar having departed post meal...
We exited with Kitty, Ewan, Olly, Jane and Bob...
Joined the last 3 of those on the 100 along the road - which, having dropped them off, very satisfyingly indeed, passed a No 26 at Wong's allowing us to join it at the next stop and avoid the laborious walk up the hill...
Home and ready for bed...
It wasn't even 8 o'clock though...
I wasn't feeling the best though, not re the drink, just, generally worn out I suppose...
A long sleep was ahead...
