Today, she was off to meet up with Jane and Bob to take Mary for a medical appointment at the Western re her pacemaker...
I took a lift to the zoo and, then, soundtracked initially by the revamped Swan thing, a bus into town re Xmas present securing and stuff picking upping...
Book tokens for two of the great-nephews, things for Annie, including a pick up of footwear waterproofing spray...
And, along the way, some things for me, including very small canvasses and some unpictured acrylic paints...
...and, in the HMV sale thing, some gifts for Anne to give to me on Xmas morning - having already ordered from Amazon last night, some other gifts for Anne to give to me on Xmas morning...
Helping her out rather than providing a list...
That was my thinking...
My HMV purchases resulted in some Uriah Heep in my lugs for the rest of the day (hint, hint)...
Still a few things to get for Anne too - even though she says she doesn't want anything...
Anyway...
A tram to Leith - on alighting, a phone call from Malcolm and a serendipitist meeting with brother-in-law Keith and step-great-niece, Ruby...
A visit to two shops resulted in items which can be played today...
...and a third shop, foolishly, entered just as myriad schoolkids were flooding the place for lunch provisions, resulted in more things for Anne...
Time to head home via a tram and a bus...
My right now pick-ups today were enjoyed at ripping and listening time...
As I sampled them, Anne was cooking a superb salmon based tagliatelle...

Tea at the new table - it's a thing...
This evening, TV, including the conclusion of "Shetland" - some acting coach somewhere needs to teach one of the actors in particular, how to perhaps have a small selection of facial expressions rather than just the one for every single thing that happens...
Amazing that she continues to be cast...
At bed time, just before midnight, this morning's mountains had changed to this evening's sea...
Highlight of the Day : Xmas shopping, even if it did end up being mostly for me...
