Along the coast once more...

Playlist

More "Keepsake" work...

Tweaking the ambient version...

...and then, post breakfast, out and into the car...

A drive along the coast to North Berwick, including an annoying jam on the City Bypass but that is, unfortunately, par for the course these days...

Arrived just before 11 - a lovely day...

Just beyond our parking spot, we visited "ReUse"...

...for a look around this large charity shop, with its more interesting than normal stock...

Here, its modus operandi re pricing...

I picked up this book for £1.50...

Then, a few yards along the road, into the St Columba's Hospice Cafe...

...for coffee and cake...

I picked up another book, this time from the "free" box...

...before we walked into the main part of the town...

...and then, post a look around the shops there, and picking up a Mozart box set for just £2, down to the seafront...

Beautiful views...

...one of which was posted to my BeReal - I have two followers, nephews Olly and Craig, neither of whom pays much attention to the site anymore...

My favourite childhood rock...

A sit down...

...before making our way back alongside the closed putting green...

..and the tennis courts, where my parents played, before I was even born...

We decided to make our way back to the hospice cafe for lunch...

Another walk...

...stopping in a wee "junk" shop - I'm sure I've photographed this comic before, re my dearly departed old chum Alex "Spike" Williams - gone two years already...

Not quite - this as taken in the same place on 27 April 2024...

...the day of Anne's great hole in one at the putting...

Salad for lunch...

...and a ciabatta for Annie...

I refrained from eating the lumps of raw garlic on the broccoli though...

Another visit to "ReUse"...

..and a wee decorative bottle purchased by Anne...

On the drive back home, spotted this and we sent it to old chum Grant Henderson...

To ripping and listening...

The Mozart box, my first CD purchase of the month..

Initially an “uh oh” scenario re the art book - but the one I already have is the original 1969 edition (bought 8 August 2015), while today’s acquisition was revised in 1975 and 1984 and reprinted in 1992.  It’s all good!

Listening to the Mozart in the back room and dipping into the Rousseau...

To be fair, I didn't really need the Mozart but, for £2 and a good cause, how could I have refused?

This book is almost 70 years old - it has a nice aroma...

Lovely Spaghetti Bolognese for tea...

It was Tuesday...

...and there was a new piece in the living room...

Lights out on a good day...

Never actually visited North Berwick - must go, maybe next summer for a day out.
