Further walking around...
Eventually to the river...
And onwards...
Cake for lunch again...
Mine a lovely cross between a scone and a n apple strudel, Anne's a chocolate twist...

...to the neighbourhood where we stayed when here back in 2009...

And the Thai place, Old Siam, was still there...
Back to the Cornish Bakery from where lunch had been acquired, for coffee/hot chocolate...

...as we walked, under greying skies...
...to Rebound Records - a nice selection, mainly of CDs, which made a refreshing change but nothing partaken of - although seeing a Chris Speed CD, did inspire me to put together a compilation later tonight of his stuff (with Dave King, also of The Bad Plus) which is available on Bandcamp...
Bus back to the park and ride, narrowly avoiding an old man trip and fall as we made our way back through the Shambles...
...for the four and a half hour drive home, stopping off after two and a half at Adderstone, between Alnwick and Berwick upon Tweed...
Nice sandwiches and crunchy crisps...
Back on the road and home just before seven...
Resetting up the systems and some TV catching up took care of the rest of the day...
