HiFi returns to the Living Room, kind of...

Playlist

Up this morning with a thought in my head...

I recorded a guy playing sax in Retiro Park in Madrid around about the exact same time my mum died...

Decided to find it and add it to "Keepsake" at the end...

Of course, adding this last 1 minute or so element to proceedings meant myriad changes having to be made to WAVs and MP3s and the the upload on Bandcamp and the programme for Friday etc etc...

That is how I waste my time...

That, and by taking accidental pictures...

Did I mention it was Tuesday?

The latest TQ arrived - like The Wire, full of people of whom I've never heard...

A couple of download codes too...

Nice design...

Set up the laptop in the back room and had a rehearsal...

Annoying jittering from the laptop...

Nothing I can do at this late stage except cross my fingers...

Mid afternoon, took Anne round to Jane's - chat with Bob and Kitty too...

Then, drove the ladies to the Picture House for "Downton Abbey" - followed by a long, leisurely tea at Pomo...

Me?

I popped into Aldi on the way home and picked up these beauties for my own long, leisurely tea...

...which was accompanied by new to me German thing, "Dark"...

...for which, it turns out, I already had 2 of the 3 seasons' soundtracks by Ben Frost...

I also set up the two wee Sony BlueTooth speakers, linked wirelessly for wide stereo. They are behind the curtains on the window ledge. OK it’s not audiophile but it’s the closest thing to a hifi the Exec Producer will condone in the living room these says...

Sounds great...

On Anne's return (me picking her up from the bottom of the hill), surprisingly, the remainder of the evening was spent continuing to listen to music and checking out the world wide web...

Bed at 11...
